Speaker’s Profile:
Zheng Jiaming, researcher and master tutor, currently serves as the honorary Dean of Hunan Businessmen Research Institute, HUTB, Librarian of Literature and History Research Institute of the People’s Government of Hunan Province and President of Hunan Businessmen Culture Research Association, Executive Vice President of Huxiang Culture Research Association, Honorary Chairman of Red Net, and host of Story Hunan of Golden Eagle Documentary Channel of Hunan TV Station. He was selected into the "National Cadre Education and Training Teacher Library" of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, and hired as an expert in the "Cultural China, Famous Forum" of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. He has given lectures in the United States and Europe. He used to be Deputy Director of Publicity Department of CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, Head of Yuelu District of Changsha City, member of Standing Committee of Changsha Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Director of Publicity Department of CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, Director of Foreign Publicity Office of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Director of Information Office of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, member of Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Sixth Committee of Hunan Provincial Federation of Social Sciences.
In recent years, he has published dozens of influential papers in Journal of Tsinghua University, Guang Ming Daily, China Youth Daily and Bookstore, more than 100 articles on philosophy, history and literature in mainstream online media such as Guangming.com, Qiushi Theory Network, Red Net and Consensus Network, nearly ten books such as History of Hunan City, Research on the Closed State and Mentality of Qing Government and Entrepreneurial Base Camp, and made certain contributions to the inheritance and development of Huxiang culture. He served as the chief producer and chief planner respectively in the TV series Yongzheng Dynasty, Towards the Republic and Just Classmates and Teenagers, lectured on more than 600 issues of Story Hunan, served as the chief contributor to the large-scale theoretical feature film Towards Harmony, presided over the Research on the Traceability of the Thought of Seeking Truth from Facts in Huxiang Culture, the key project of Hunan Social Science Fund, Research on Internet + News Information Management Mechanism - Taking Hunan Province as an Example, the key project of Hunan Social Science Achievement Evaluation Committee, etc.
