Sanxiang City Express, December 28 - (Reported by Correspondents Li Wanqiong and Li Chong and All-Media Reporters Liu Zhendong and Huang Jing) To serve the community residents wholeheartedly and improve their sense of happiness and gain, on December 27, the Party Committee of HUTB School of Public Administration and Human Geography, the Party Branch of Meixi Lake Luxury Collection Hotel of Changsha and the Party Branch of Wanglu Community of Wangchengpo District jointly held a New Year's gala at the Meixi Lake Luxury Collection Hotel as part of the Party building activities. 54 retired disabled seniors of the community were invited to the gala.
Mr. Su Jihua, Owner, General Manager and Party Branch Secretary of the hotel, gave a welcome speech at the event. Mr. Su is also an outstanding alumnus of HUTB. Professor He Tianxiang, Acting Dean of the School of Public Administration and Human Geography of HUTB, and Liu Hui, Party Branch Secretary of Wanglu Community of Yuelu District, also delivered speeches. Dr. Liu Zhi and Dr. Zhang Tao, who are Party members and teachers of HUTB, performed solos of Hemerocallis Flowers, Waiting, My People, My Country and other works at the gala. Xu Xinhua, a retired disabled senior of the community, performed the song Love Between Heaven and Earth. The gala brimmed with joy and laughter.
The Party Committee of HUTB also provided various kinds of prizes for winners of a lottery. The first prize was a high-end three-tier steamer, the second prize was a high-end double-tier steamer, and the third prize was a high-end single-tier steamer. The lucky prize was Mind Act Upon Mind Tissue Paper. The residents enjoyed the lottery very much.
Since the beginning of 2021, the School of Public Administration and Human Geography has actively introduced high-quality university-enterprise cooperation resources, mobilized all parties, and carried out cross-industry and cross-unit regional Party building with the Wanglu Community and outstanding enterprises. The activity displays the advantages of resource integration in regional Party building.
