HUTB Football Team Holds Activities Celebrating the 26th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Football Team

On the afternoon of June 19, HUTB Football Team held activities celebrating the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the football team on the football field. The activities were attended by Kuang Yumei, Secretary of the School of Sports and Health, Ren Zhi, Director of the Security Division, Li Zhiwei, Vice Dean of the School of Sports and Health, Xie Xiaoming, Deputy Director of the Alumni Office, Yan Pan, General Manager of Wuhan Guanghe Yunli Sports Development Co., Ltd. and excellent alumni representative of the HUTB Football Team, all active members of the HUTB Football Team, and alumni of the HUTB Football Team from across the country.
In her address, Secretary Kuang Yumei welcomed the alumni of the HUTB Football Team, and led the participants to review the development and changes of the HUTB Football Team since its establishment 26 years ago. She said that against the background of the development of campus football, the HUTB Football Team will enjoy a promising future.
After the conclusion of the welcome ceremony, a friendly match was held between the football team of HUTB students and football team of HUTB alumni. The game allowed all participants to experience the fun of football and relive their youth.
Since its establishment in 1996, the HUTB Football Team has become one of the business cards of HUTB. The HUTB Football Team has remained top and long been one of the leading football teams among universities in Hunan Province. Over the years, due to the support of the Federation of University Sports of China and the Division of Sports, Health and Art Education, Department of Education of Hunan Province, and the care and attention of the Chief Leader, the HUTB Football Team has experienced a gradual increase of scale, a steady rise of competitive level and an improvement of competition results. The HUTB Football Team will make all efforts to promote the development of campus football, and support HUTB in achieving another success in “sports, technology and business” construction.
