Youth League Committee Launches a Series of Volunteer Service Activities to Learn from Lei Feng

March 5 this year is the 59th "Remembrance Day for Learning Lei Feng". In order to implement the plan of Youth League Committee of Hunan Province on deepening the implementation of "Learning from Lei Feng in Lei Feng's Hometown" Volunteer Services by Millions of Young People, carry forward Lei Feng's spirit, greet the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League. On the morning of March 4, Youth League Committee organized a series of volunteer service activities to learn from Lei Feng themed by “welcome to the 20th National Congress, always follow the Party, and forge ahead on a new journey” in Yingcai Square, calling on students to sign the banner, fulfill their initial mission and strive to be pioneers of the times.
In the campus, the following activities were organized and carried out: the volunteer story collection "Looking for Role Models and Striving to be Leifeng Man" to collect the stories of learning Lei Feng, promote the image of "Leifeng man", and spread the stories of Lei Feng; the typical deeds sharing "Love Mailbox, Volunteer Present" to improve the sense of honor of volunteers and convey warmth to more HUTBers; works collection "Build Lei Feng Spirit Together with Volunteer Youth" to spread youth volunteer service culture publicity products; the activity of blood donation vehicle into campus "100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Youth League, Warm-blooded Action" and "Walking League Emblem Guards the Beautiful Scenery of HUTB" to improve the participation in the activities, carry forward Lei Feng's spirit, unite the strength of youth, and build a good atmosphere for everyone to volunteer and actively contribute on campus.
Outside the campus, the following activities were conducted: "Spring Blossoms, Warm in March" in cooperation with Chunzhihui Special Children Assistance Center to send warmth and care to special children; activities such as "Charming Scenery with You", "Anti-drug Law Popularization, HUTBers in Action" in cooperation with Lujing Community and Lugu Primary School to actively promote the community - university cooperation platform “Lugu Cooperation”; "Water Nourishes Huxiang and Beautiful Hunan Tour" in West Lake Park and Orange Island to cultivate young people's awareness of water saving; "Science Helps Growth, League History Leads Childlike Innocence" to greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League.
